Welcome to the Computer Networking CD-Rom

We are pleased to offer you a realistic, hands-on laboratory experience with network protocols without requiring all the routers, switches, hubs, and PCs of an actual network. We use Ethereal, an open source network protocol analyzer, to examine traces of real network activity. In each exercise, you will be directed to open specific trace files contained on this CD and follow along with the text. To do that, you will need to first install Ethereal.
